Are there any vehicle restrictions?

Vehicles must not exceed a height of 8ft. Oversized vehicles including large vans, buses, campers, RVs, and limousines will not be permitted entry. Convertibles are permitted, however, they may not have the top down. Motorcycles and similar vehicles are not permitted. Sitting in truck beds will not be permitted.

What types of ADA accommodations are available?

Insomniac welcomes all, and we strive to make our environment accessible to our guests with disabilities. To request specific ADA services and/or reasonable accommodations, please contact us.

How many people are permitted per vehicle?

Vehicles may have up to 8 passengers, provided that each must have a legal seat.

How long will the whole experience be?

The Electric Mile experience will approximately be 45 minutes to an hour long.

Will there be restrooms available if needed?

Restrooms are available for use at the beginning of your experience before ticket scan, & at the end of Electric Mile in the merch area.

Will we be allowed to exit our vehicles?

No. There is no exiting your vehicle at any point in the drive-thru of Electric Mile.

How early can I arrive?

You may arrive up to 30 minutes to your scheduled time.

Is this an all ages event?


Do vehicles need a functioning car stereo to enjoy the experience?

In order to fully experience Electric Mile, each vehicle must have a working FM receiver to tune-in.

Will I be able to purchase merch?

The Insomniac Shop will be located at the end of your drive-thru experience.

You can make a purchase while experiencing the Electric Mile or wait until the end where you can park in a designated purchasing stall within the Insomniac Shop area. Once you receive the notification that your order is ready for pickup you can proceed to the drive-thru order pickup!

Will there be alcohol available for purchase?

Alcohol will not be sold and is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Will there be strobe lights?

Electric Mile contains bright, flashing lights and/or imagery that may cause discomfort and/or seizures for those with photosensitive epilepsy. Attendee discretion is advised.

Do you drive your own vehicle?

Yes, all attendees must drive their own vehicle.

Is this family friendly?

Yes! The Electric Mile is family friendly and is welcoming for all ages.

What if I can't make my scheduled time?

We will do our best to accommodate your reschedule request, however, there are no guarantees. Per our ticketing policy, all sales are final and no refunds or exchanges will be provided for any given ticket purchase.

What if I have a question or there is an emergency during the drive-thru?

If you have any questions during your drive-thru experience it  can be answered by calling or texting our hotline number: 323-366-0457. In an event of an emergency please come to a full stop, call our hotline and turn on your hazard lights to get the attention of our staff. If necessary we'll be able to escort you out safely.

Am I able to experience Electric Mile without a vehicle?

No. Only attendees with a vehicle will be permitted into the Electric Mile experience.

Will rain prevent me from attending?

Electric Mile will take place rain or shine.

How fast will I be driving through the Electric Mile?

All vehicles may not exceed 3MPH.

Is Electric Mile safe and secure?

All attendees will experience Electric Mile socially distanced in the comfort of their own vehicle. Please wear your mask if windows are rolled down or while you are talking to staff. If you are sick, have a fever, have traveled in the past 14 days, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home. We encourage attending the event with others only if they are in your immediate household.

Can I bring a drone to the event?

Drones of any kind are not permitted at Electric Mile.
